I now specialize in representing my clients in the purchases, sales, and leases of commercial properties including office buildings, office condos, church properties, residential investment properties, and 1031 Exchanges. At present, I will continue representing friends and their referrals in the purchase and sale of single-family residences and income property within the cities of Phoenix, Scottsdale, Glendale, Peoria, the Sun Cities, Anthem, and Surprise.
Personal Biography
I'm a transplant to the Northwest Valley, having been born and reared in Oklahoma. My youth was filled with extra-curricular activities centered around school and church. I graduated from Southern Nazarene University with a degree in Communications, Drama, and Biblical Literature. I also hold a Master's degree from the Assemblies of God Theological Seminary.
My career has included more than 30 years of pastoral ministry in Assemblies of God churches in three states. My wife, Beverly, and I moved to the Northwest Valley at the invitation of the Arizona District Assemblies of God and Evangel Church of Sun City to plant a new family-oriented contemporary church in north Glendale, Destiny Church. Beverly is a registered nurse with a Bachelor's degree from the University of Oklahoma.
My real estate experience includes a variety of activities including general contracting of my own home. I have been involved in securing commercial real estate for various churches as well as overseeing several major church construction projects and building renovations. I have hands-on experience in many aspects of construction including framing, electrical, plumbing, and roofing. With this background in the financial, legal, and construction aspects of real estate (and with encouragement from realtor friends) I chose real estate as an enjoyable career in Glendale as a means of supporting our new church ministry and getting acquainted quickly in the community. In 2005 I represented the Arizona District Assemblies of God in the purchase of their new building at 2601 E. Thomas Rd. in Phoenix. 2007 and 2008 have been especially productive in commercial land acquisitions in Glendale, Surprise, and Arizona City. Leasing and Subleasing of Retail, Office, Industrial, and Flex Spaces also been quite active in 2007 and 2008.
Current hobbies include spending time shopping with my wife and playing golf with new friends. I am actively involved with the Glendale Chamber of Commerce Lunch Bunch and Christian Business Network leads groups. I look forward to a long and healthy business career in the Northwest Valley.
